Portuguese youth football draws set for National and District championships

The schedule and groups for the 2026/2027 National Championship II Division for the Iniciados category have been drawn. The competition is set to begin on September 27, featuring 48 teams divided into four series of 12 teams each. The first phase will consist of 11 matchdays.

In the Santarém District I Division for Iniciados, the draw has also been completed. Sixteen teams are competing, split into two series of eight teams. In Series 2, AREPA and GD Samora Correia will face local competition including Académica de Santarém B, CD Os Águias, GD Benavente, SL Cartaxo, União de Santarém, and União FC Almeirim. The first round of matches is scheduled for October 4, with a regional matchup between AREPA and GD Samora Correia set for October 11.
