Porvorim flyover faces criticism over alleged design flaws

AAP Goa leaders have criticized the state government regarding the newly inaugurated Porvorim flyover, alleging significant engineering failures and design flaws. AAP Goa President Valmiki Naik accused the BJP of seeking political credit for the project through social media and public appearances while avoiding responsibility for its shortcomings.

Party officials, including Vice President Sunil Signapurkar, described the project as a major blunder that has cost the state crores of rupees. Concerns were raised regarding inadequate signage to prevent accidents and questions about whether the flyover was designed to facilitate access to casinos. Additionally, residents reported that despite the inconveniences faced during construction, they are currently unable to access the structure.
