Posadas, Argentina opens youth council and participatory budgeting for 2026

The municipal government of Posadas has opened enrollment for the 2026 edition of the Concejo Deliberante Juvenil, a program that lets young people aged 15‑21 experience council work and draft community proposals. Registrations close on 10 August, after which participants receive training, develop projects and take part in a legislative session scheduled for 15 October.

At the same time, the city’s Presupuesto Participativo 2026 call for project proposals remains open until 31 July. More than 100 initiatives from residents, neighbourhood committees and social groups have already been submitted, covering infrastructure and urban equipment improvements. Submissions can be made online via the municipal platform or in person at any of the 11 municipal delegations.
