Posadas hosts provincial nursing conference to boost innovation and care quality
On August 13‑14, the city of Posadas, Argentina, will hold the XVII Provincial and XII Regional Nursing Congress. Organized jointly by the Misiones Ministry of Public Health, the Institute of Social Welfare (IPS), the School of Nursing at the National University of Misiones (UNaM) and Sanatorio Integral IOT, the two‑day event aims to strengthen continuous training, share experiences and discuss the future of nursing.
Participants—including health professionals, educators and students—will present on topics such as innovative health‑care practices, quality of care, neonatal services, primary health care, elderly care, mental health of health personnel, vaccination, chronic wound management, patient safety and quality management. The congress seeks to promote permanent capacity‑building and enhance the professional role of nurses within the health system.
