Positano and Amalfi unveil new art installations in July 2026

The municipality of Positano launched the July edition of its summer art program, "Positano in Mostra," featuring a month‑long solo exhibition by Aerma Polani. The artist, whose pseudonym is an anagram of “Amare Napoli,” presents frescoes transferred to canvas using an eco‑friendly technique that blends traditional materials with contemporary mixed media.

In Amalfi, the city council approved the permanent display of Andrea Roggi’s bronze sculpture "Koi No Yokan" on the Lungomare dei Cavalieri. The work, originally installed during a 2024 open‑air exhibition, was formally handed over to the municipality on 3 July and will become part of Amalfi’s cultural heritage, reinforcing the town’s strategy of promoting public art as a draw for tourists.

Both initiatives are part of broader efforts by local administrations to boost cultural tourism along the Amalfi Coast while emphasizing sustainable and community‑focused development.
