Positano fireworks tribute honors Vincenzo De Lucia

During the traditional Ferragosto celebrations in Positano, a special firework display served as a tribute to Vincenzo De Lucia, who passed away suddenly at the age of 56.

As part of the festivities honoring the Assumption of Mary, a large red heart-shaped firework exploded over the Amalfi Coast. The display was intended by the De Lucia family to honor Vincenzo’s deep devotion to the Virgin Mary and to maintain local traditions despite the recent tragedy. The event transformed the pyrotechnic show into a communal moment of remembrance for the local community.
