Cultural and sporting events held in Positano, Ravenna, and San Marino

Various cultural and sporting events took place across Italy and San Marino in early September 2026.

In Positano, the 54th edition of the Premio Positano Léonide Massine celebrated dance excellence. French dancer Sylvie Guillem was honored with the Career Achievement Award and Absolute Ballerina title. During the ceremony, Virginia Attanasio received the Luca Vespoli Award for her long-standing connection to the event.

In San Marino, the ninth Dodgeball Festival saw the Toscana Reapers emerge as winners, followed by the Ravenna Diablos and Romagna Demons. The event drew athletes from five different countries, including Austria, Malaysia, England, and France.

In Ravenna, the eighth Ravenna Park Race set a new record with 1,482 participants in the 21K and 10K categories. Michele Munari won the men’s 21K trail running race, while Giorgia Mancin secured the women’s victory. Additionally, the urban dance festival ‘Variazioni per Ammutinamenti’ continued its performances throughout the city.

In the Lombardy region, the Festival Terre d’Acqua resumed its schedule of distributed theater performances between Mantova and Cremona.
