Płońsk supermarket theft leads to criminal charges

A 40-year-old resident of the Dzierzążnia commune has faced criminal charges following a theft at a supermarket in Płońsk. The incident, which occurred in late June, involved the man taking a spool of promotional stickers from a checkout area when no staff were present.

Security footage captured the theft, allowing police to identify the suspect and his vehicle. The stolen stickers were valued at approximately 960 to 1,167 PLN. During questioning, the man admitted to the theft, claiming he did not realize the items held such value.
