Posta Ybycuá hosts community wedding for 95 couples
In Posta Ybycuá, 95 couples participated in a community wedding ceremony organized by the Fundación Santa Librada. The event, part of the Sagrada Familia project, is designed to provide marriage access to low-income families.
Among the participants were Nancy Espinoza and Eligio Gallego, who formalized their 20-year relationship, and Inocencia Martínez and Cristino Morel, who have raised four children together. The preparation process for the couples involved approximately one year of accompaniment.
Since the initiative began in 2017, a total of 7,162 couples have been married through this program. Luis González, the foundation's project coordinator, noted that a similar ceremony involving 100 couples took place in the same location last year. Another community wedding is planned for Santa Rosa, Misiones, for 29 couples.
