Postal 2 Redux confirmed for Q1 2027 release on PC, PS4, PS5, and VR

Developers Running With Scissors, Flat2VR, Team Beef, and Impact Reality have confirmed that Postal 2 Redux, a complete rebuild of the 2003 cult classic first-person shooter, is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2027. The project reached its funding goal via Kickstarter in a single day.

Built using Unity 6, the remake features significant technical upgrades, including improved textures, lighting, materials, and shaders. The developers have also implemented a new physics system, optimized level streaming, and overhauled NPC intelligence and reactions.

The game will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, and VR platforms. It retains the sandbox nature of the original, set in the fictional town of Paradise, Arizona, and features the return of the canine companion, Champ.
