Poste Italiane begins October pension payments in Italy

Poste Italiane has announced that October pension payments will begin on Thursday, October 1, across various regions in Italy, including Piemonte and the province of Reggio Calabria.

Payments are available to holders of Savings Books, BancoPosta accounts, or Postepay Evolution who have opted for direct credit. Cardholders can withdraw cash from Postamat ATMs without visiting a service counter. For those withdrawing at a counter, a valid identity document is required, though a third party may be delegated to collect the funds.

Poste Italiane provides a free insurance policy for debit card holders that covers cash theft up to 700 euros per year if the theft occurs within two hours of a withdrawal from a post office or ATM. To minimize wait times, the company advises pensioners to visit during late morning or afternoon and to prefer days following the first of the month.
