Posušje reports economic growth and job creation during municipal day

The municipality of Posušje celebrated its municipal day, highlighting significant economic growth and social development. Between 2021 and 2025, the region saw the creation of 504 new jobs, and local economic revenues in 2025 reached 1.493 billion KM, marking an 8.1 percent increase from the previous year.

During the celebrations, which included a ceremony honoring Croatian veterans attended by Dragan Čović and representatives from Croatia, officials noted that Posušje has climbed four places on the federal development ranking list. Local leaders, including Municipal Council President Mario Knezović and Mayor Ante Begić, emphasized the importance of constructive dialogue between businesses, the local community, and higher levels of government to sustain this upward trend.
