Poșta Română and Temu partner on logistics for Romanian merchants

Poșta Română has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the global e-commerce platform Temu to provide integrated logistics services for Romanian merchants selling on the platform.

The agreement establishes a service chain that includes collecting parcels from sellers, sorting them at logistics centers within Romania, and managing last-mile delivery. Delivery options will include home delivery, pickup points, automated lockers, and post offices nationwide.

According to Valentin Ștefan, CEO of Poșta Română, the partnership leverages the national postal network to reach communities across the country, including rural areas. The initiative aims to simplify order fulfillment and returns for local businesses, potentially helping them expand their reach to customers in other European countries. Temu’s ‘Local Seller’ program, which allows domestic firms to sell on the platform, is currently active in over 35 countries.
