Pošta Slovenije releases eight new commemorative stamps

Pošta Slovenije has released eight new commemorative postage stamps featuring a variety of cultural, natural, and safety-oriented themes.

The new collection includes a series on wildlife featuring the European hedgehog, a series on Slovenian technical heritage showcasing the TOPS S-3 typewriter, and a continuation of the Slovenian poetry series featuring Fanny Haussmann. Other themes include the Ljubljana Marathon and road safety.

The final stamp in the road safety series, developed in collaboration with the Traffic Safety Agency (AVP), carries the message ‘Drive right, overtake left!’ to promote safe highway driving habits. This concludes a series of five safety-themed stamps released since 2022.
