PotatoEurope and SugarBeet Expo to host 12,000 specialists in Germany
The PotatoEurope trade fair and the inaugural SugarBeet Expo are scheduled to take place on September 9 and 10, 2026, at Rittergut Gestorf 1 in Springe near Hannover, Germany. Organized by the DLG (German Agricultural Society), the event serves as a professional meeting point for root crop cultivation.
The DLG expects over 290 exhibitors and approximately 12,000 specialist visitors from both domestic and international markets. The program focuses on knowledge transfer, technical demonstrations, and professional exchange, covering topics such as current varieties, operating materials, digitalization, automation, and robotics.
Technical demonstrations will include 30 units in the potato sector, ranging from planting technology and various harvester classes to transport and cleaning systems. The sugar beet sector will feature ten machines demonstrating modern sowing technology, harvesters, and logistics solutions. Additionally, ten machines dedicated to plant protection technology for root crops will be showcased.
