Potenza signs memorandum to advance youth participation in digital governance

The E-Gov4Youth project, an Erasmus Plus European initiative, has concluded its 30-month implementation period in Potenza, Italy. The project focused on involving younger generations in local decision-making processes and building a more digital, open, and participatory public administration.

To ensure the project's long-term sustainability, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Exeo Lab, the project lead, and the Municipality of Potenza. This agreement aims to continue utilizing the tools and methodologies developed during the initiative even after European funding has ended.

Key outcomes presented during the concluding event at the Palazzo della Cultura included the E-Gov4Youth platform and a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) dedicated to e-governance. The program integrated research, training, international mobility, and co-creation, concluding with participatory sessions focused on digital inclusion, youth employment, well-being, and sustainability.
