Potigás offers R$ 4,000 bonus for GNV vehicle conversions in RN

Companhia Potiguar de Gás (Potigás) has launched the 2026 edition of its ‘Vai no Gás’ promotion in Rio Grande do Norte. The initiative offers a R$ 4,000 bonus to vehicle owners who convert their cars to Natural Gas Vehicle (GNV) fuel.

The program aims to reward up to 84 vehicles, totaling an investment of R$ 336,000 in bonuses. It is open to taxi drivers, app-based drivers, fleet owners, and individual or corporate vehicle owners. To qualify, conversions must be performed at INMETRO-registered workshops within Rio Grande do Norte using new 5th or 6th generation GNV kits and new cylinders.

Participants must also complete vehicle inspections through an accredited body and regularize their documentation with DETRAN/RN. The promotion runs until November 20, 2026, or until all 84 slots are filled, with rewards distributed based on the chronological order of approved documentation.
