Potosí weather forecast predicts rain and high-altitude snow

The National Service of Meteorology and Hydrology (SENAMHI) has issued a weather forecast for Potosí, predicting rainy conditions for Friday, September 18. The city is expected to experience cloudy skies and precipitation throughout the morning, afternoon, and night, with accumulated rainfall amounts expected to be less than 10 millimeters.

In higher elevations above 4,100 meters above sea level, snowfall is anticipated. Temperatures in the city are projected to range from a minimum of 3°C to a maximum of 16°C. Humidity levels are expected to fluctuate between 60% and 90%, and frosts are possible during the early morning hours.

Weather conditions are expected to improve starting Saturday, September 19, with clearer skies and lower humidity levels between 20% and 40%. By Sunday, the forecast suggests clear skies and temperatures ranging from 3°C to 17°C.
