Germany police report various crimes including fraud and missing persons

Various criminal incidents and police operations have been reported across Germany. In Hamburg, authorities are searching for a missing 12-year-old boy from Fuhlsbüttel and investigating a sexual assault against a nine-year-old girl in Bramfeld.

In Potsdam, local officials have expressed concern over escalating violence attributed to youth gangs, which has reportedly led to the closure of a local youth club due to threats against staff. Meanwhile, in Langenhagen, police conducted e-scooter checks, resulting in eight violations, including one attempt to flee.

Fraud and theft cases are also prominent. In Berlin, police are using surveillance footage to find suspects who defrauded a senior citizen in Neukölln. In Bernkastel-Kues, a man posing as a heating technician stole jewelry from an elderly woman. Additionally, reports from Hessen highlight a rise in telephone-based trickery targeting seniors, where criminals pose as bank employees or police officers to steal money and valuables.
