Potsdam to host beach volleyball and environmental festival

Potsdam will host a series of community events at Volkspark Potsdam from September 11 to 13, 2026.

On Friday, September 11, Potsdamer VC 91 e. V. will offer a beach volleyball introductory course for children at Großer Wiesenpark. This will be followed on Saturday, September 12, by the ‘King & Queen of the Beach 2026’ tournament, featuring a unique format where players rotate partners each round.

On Sunday, September 13, the Potsdam Environmental Festival will take place. The event features approximately 100 regional exhibitors focusing on sustainability, climate protection, green mobility, and sustainable consumption. The program includes family theater, lectures, a science slam, and workshops. Additionally, winners of the ‘STADTRADELN’ cycling competition will be honored during the festival.
