Pourville coastline features new live HD webcam for maritime monitoring

A live HD webcam has been established at Pourville, located on the Normandy coast between Dieppe and Varengeville-sur-Mer, to provide real-time monitoring of maritime conditions.

The tool serves as a resource for surfers, vacationers, and coastal enthusiasts to observe weather, sea states, and tide coefficients. Specifically, the webcam allows users to evaluate swell height and wind strength, with reported swell values typically ranging between 0.3 and 0.8 meters. Beyond technical utility for water sports, the live feed offers remote views of the Norman landscape, including the cliffs and sunrises over the English Channel.
