Powder Keg Technologies selected for NEDO deep-tech program
Powder Keg Technologies has been selected for the ‘Yakushin Course 3000’ program by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). This initiative aims to foster deep-tech entrepreneurs and stimulate economic growth through innovation.
The company will focus on research and development for diagnostic technologies designed to verify the integrity and robustness of physical AI. As robots increasingly utilize AI to perceive and interact with their surroundings, new security risks emerge that could lead to physical harm or accidents.
The project will address three primary areas: diagnosing security in robot control middleware, evaluating the resilience of AI models against attacks (specifically for edge AI with limited computational resources), and developing integrated system-AI diagnostics that can be performed without halting robot operations.
