Powderfinger announces 18-date Australian reunion tour for 2027

Australian rock band Powderfinger has announced an 18-date national reunion tour scheduled for September and October 2027. This marks the group’s first full live performances since their 2010 farewell tour.

The tour, described as a “rock n roll circus,” will feature a custom-built, stadium-sized big top with capacities of up to 13,000 fans. The itinerary includes stops in Brisbane, Cairns, Perth, Sydney, Adelaide, and Melbourne. The band has committed to an all-Australian lineup of support acts, with specific artists to be announced in November.

In addition to the musical performances, the tour is partnering with the charity Mission Australia to raise awareness and funds for those experiencing homelessness. The band expressed being “absolutely ecstatic” to reunite, noting that the timing finally felt right to share their music with both long-term fans and a new generation.
