Powderfinger announces 2027 Australian reunion tour

Australian rock band Powderfinger has officially announced a massive 18-date reunion tour across Australia in late 2027. The tour, which marks the group's first national run since their 2010 farewell, is scheduled to run from September 3 through October 30, 2027.

Due to high demand, additional shows have already been added in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth. The band plans to perform under a traveling big top at various outdoor venues and arenas. The tour will also feature a lineup of emerging and established support acts, which is expected to be announced in November.

During a recent radio interview, frontman Bernard Fanning expressed openness to performing at the 2027 NRL Grand Final, inviting league officials to get in touch. The reunion tour is also set to partner with Mission Australia to raise funds and awareness for the organization.
