Powderfinger announces 2027 national reunion tour

Australian rock band Powderfinger has confirmed a national reunion tour scheduled for September 2027. This marks the group's first full-scale Australian tour since their disbandment in 2010.

The reunion will feature the original lineup: Bernard Fanning, Darren Middleton, Ian Haug, John Collins, and Jon Coghill. The announcement follows a series of cryptic social media teasers and digital billboard displays in major Australian cities, including Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. These teasers utilized symbols and references to the band's 1996 album, Double Allergic.

Formed in Brisbane in 1989, Powderfinger became one of Australia's most successful rock acts, achieving five consecutive number-one studio albums. Their catalog includes hits such as ‘My Happiness’, ‘These Days’, and ‘On My Mind’.
