Power BI introduces new layout gallery and bookmarking capabilities

Power BI users have new tools for enhancing report design and interactivity. A new Power BI Layouts Gallery has been launched, allowing report builders to browse and download PBIR files. These files utilize the Power BI Project format, enabling users to download a structural design and immediately begin shaping it around their specific data rather than starting from a blank canvas.

Additionally, the use of bookmarks within Power BI provides analysts with advanced control over visual presentation. Bookmarks can be used to create custom navigation, such as tabbed visual switches, pop-up overlay panels for slicers or KPIs, and 'reset filter' buttons. They also facilitate storytelling by allowing users to pre-configure sequential views for interactive presentations.
