Power Metallic Mines postpones Nisk‑Lion resource estimate to August
Power Metallic Mines Inc. announced that the release of its 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate for the combined Nisk and Lion discoveries will be delayed until the end of August. The postponement is attributed to staffing constraints at the consulting engineering firm preparing the estimate.
The company continues to operate five drilling rigs on the Nisk project and expects assay results from the summer drilling program to start arriving in September and to continue through the fall. Results from the Squid survey and early Muon geophysical work will be incorporated into the post‑Moose Break (Sept 15‑Oct 15) exploration program.
Shareholders approved charter updates at the June 30 annual meeting, allowing Power Metallic to move forward with its Nasdaq listing application. The company also granted 11.3 million incentive stock options at $1.25 per share and 650,000 deferred share units to directors, officers and consultants. Red Cloud Securities Inc. remains engaged to provide market‑stabilisation services, for which Power Metallic pays $7,000 per month on a quarterly basis.
