Power outages affect several neighborhoods in La Plata

Residents in several neighborhoods of La Plata, including Tolosa, Barrio Norte, La Loma, and Villa Castells, experienced power outages on Saturday. The interruptions began in the early morning hours and lasted until midday.

The utility company, Edelap, attributed the service disruptions to scheduled maintenance work. While the company had published a schedule for planned works between 8:00 and 12:00 in various sectors, some residents reported that their homes were not included in the announced zones.

According to Edelap, the works were nearing completion, and supply began to be restored to the affected areas around 13:00.
