Power outages disrupt public services in Leganés and Valladolid
Recurring power outages caused by an Iberdrola network failure have disrupted public services in Leganés, Spain. The outages have affected the City Council, tax offices, and local courts, hindering administrative procedures and the management of digital files. Notably, technical difficulties prevented the live broadcast and proper recording of the September ordinary plenary session of the City Council.
In Valladolid, Mexico, a heavy truck accident resulted in significant infrastructure damage and service interruptions. A vehicle collided with a Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) pole, causing a blackout in the Bacalar neighborhood. The loss of power also disabled a main water pump in the Sisal neighborhood, cutting off the water supply to several areas, including San Juan and Xlapac.
