Power outages hit multiple towns in Timiș County, Romania
Between 6 July and 10 July, electricity supply was interrupted in numerous localities across Timiș County. Scheduled outages ran from 09:00 to 17:00 each day, affecting areas such as Șandra, Uivar, Giarmata, Sânandrei, Șag, Giroc, Herendești, Povârgina, Otelec, Ghilad, Sânpetru Mare, Variaș, Lenauheim, Timișoara, Lugoj, and several others. The disruption was marked as partial in many places, while a few zones, including Povârgina, Breazova, Bucovăț, Mâtnicu Mic, Drăgșinești and Gladna Română, experienced total outages.
Local authorities listed specific streets and neighborhoods for each settlement, indicating where the power cuts were expected.
