Power outages scheduled in Chennai and Udaipur on July 7, 2026

On Tuesday, July 7, 2026, electricity supplies will be temporarily halted for maintenance in large parts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The shutdown list includes neighbourhoods such as Redhills, Thiruvanmiyur, Tambaram, Pallavaram and Mugalivakkam, with power expected to be restored before 2:00 PM if work is completed on time.

The same day, Udaipur, Rajasthan will see scheduled power cuts across more than 90 areas, including G Block, F Block, Indraprastha A and B, Sisarma Village, Rani Road, Gorela, Amba Mata and Chandpol feeders. Outages will begin between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM and are slated to end between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM depending on the feeder.

Both cities have warned residents to plan for the temporary loss of electricity during the specified hours.
