PowerA unveils Pokémon-themed controller for Nintendo Switch 2

PowerA has unveiled a new, officially licensed Advantage wireless controller designed for the Nintendo Switch 2. Featuring a Pokémon Ditto theme, the controller features a light purple shell and analog sticks designed to resemble the character's hands.

Technically, the controller utilizes Hall Effect sensors in the thumbsticks to prevent stick drift and increase longevity. It includes two programmable rear buttons, motion control support, and a new C-button for accessing GameChat functions on the Switch 2. The device offers up to 30 hours of battery life per charge and includes a 3-meter USB-C cable.

While the controller lacks HD Rumble and amiibo scanning capabilities found in Nintendo’s official Pro Controller, it is priced at $50.99, making it a more affordable alternative to the $90 first-party option.
