NFL returns to London with Colts vs. Commanders matchup

The NFL is returning to London for a series of international games, beginning with a Week 4 matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and the Washington Commanders at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. This fixture marks the start of a three-week stretch of games in the UK, with subsequent matches scheduled for Philadelphia Eagles vs. Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars.

For the Washington Commanders, the matchup comes amid significant injury concerns. Starting quarterback Jayden Daniels has been dealing with an elbow injury, and wide receiver Terry McLaurin is listed as week-to-week due to a quad injury. If Daniels is unable to play, Marcus Mariota is expected to lead the offense. The Colts have also arrived in the UK via Stansted Airport to prepare for the contest.

In addition to the London games, the NFL's European expansion continues later this month with a game scheduled at the Stade de France in Paris on October 25.
