Powys police respond to multiple road collisions

Dyfed-Powys Police and Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service responded to two separate road traffic collisions in Powys on Tuesday, August 11.

In the first incident, a three-vehicle crash occurred on the A470 near Llyswen at approximately 3:25 p.m. Emergency services, including crews from Brecon and Llandrindod Wells, attended the scene. Police reported that those involved sustained minor injuries. The road was closed for several hours and reopened at 6:45 p.m.

In a separate incident, a single-vehicle collision was reported on the B4569 between Caersws and Trefeglwys at approximately 2:50 a.m. A 31-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through alcohol. She has since been released under investigation. The road was reopened at approximately 5:10 a.m.
