Poxoréu hosts Centelha de Luz Dance Showcase

The Centelha de Luz Dance Showcase was held at the São João Batista Youth Center in Poxoréu, Mato Grosso. The event marked the conclusion of a Street Dance workshop organized by the Ponto de Cultura in partnership with the Mato Grosso State Secretariat of Culture, Sport, and Leisure (SECEL/MT), utilizing resources from the National Aldir Blanc Policy for Cultural Promotion (PNAB).

The non-competitive showcase featured various dance groups from Poxoréu and Primavera do Leste, including Centelha de Luz, Arte em Movimento, EcoAção Salesiana, Mãe Cidinha, Xavante, Street Monsters, and Studio Janaína Souza. Each participating group received a trophy and a prize of R$ 2,000. The initiative aimed to encourage cultural continuity and provide opportunities for children and youth through dance, which served as a tool for developing creativity, discipline, and teamwork.
