Poxoréu Youth Center hosts annual Dom Bosco Fest

The São João Batista Youth Center in Poxoréu, Mato Grosso, held its annual Dom Bosco Fest to commemorate the anniversary of Saint John Bosco. The event brought together children from various local projects, including ECOAÇÃO Salesiana, Sementes Tecnológicas, Centelha de Luz, Construindo Cidadania, and Torcida pela Vida.

The program included a mass presided over by Father Osmar Resende, followed by recreational activities such as sports and games. Cultural elements were also featured, including the second edition of ‘Dom Bosco News,’ a newspaper produced by the Arts Workshop, and a dance performance by the Salasarte group. The festivities served to celebrate the life and educational legacy of Dom Bosco in anticipation of his feast day on August 16.
