Poza Rica and Sedesol sign urban development agreement

The Veracruz Secretariat of Social Development (Sedesol) and the Poza Rica City Council have signed a Coordination Agreement to regulate territorial planning and municipal urban development. The agreement aims to promote orderly urban growth through specialized technical assistance and accompaniment from the state government.

Under this framework, authorities will work on the creation, supervision, validation, and approval of urban development programs. This includes issuing technical opinions and land-use authorizations in accordance with current regulations. The signing was led by Sedesol head Margarita Santopietro Peralta and Poza Rica Mayor Adanely Rodríguez Rodríguez, with the participation of Regional Development Undersecretary Eusebia Cortés Pérez.
