Poznań announces waste management changes for unoccupied properties

The city of Poznań is preparing for a new tender regarding the collection, transport, and management of waste from unoccupied properties. This change affects owners of commercial spaces, such as shops, service premises, restaurants, offices, and educational institutions, where no residents live.

Property owners must decide whether to remain within the municipal waste management system or organize their own collection services independently. The deadline for submitting these declarations is September 4, 2026. After this date, the ability to change decisions will be strictly limited. These changes are intended to take effect following the resolution of the new tender process.
