Poznań-Ławica Airport handles over 1 million passengers in summer

Poznań-Ławica Airport reported significant passenger traffic during the summer months, serving over 1.06 million passengers in July and August combined. In August alone, the airport handled 536,154 travelers, representing a 3% increase compared to the previous year.

Low-cost carriers were the primary driver of this growth, accounting for 265,500 passengers, a 6% increase from August 2025. Charter flight traffic also rose by 3% to 220,600 passengers, with Antalya being the most popular destination. Conversely, traditional carrier services saw a 9% decline.

From the beginning of 2026 through the end of August, the airport has served a total of 2,909,378 passengers, up approximately 3% from the same period in 2025. Additionally, Wizz Air announced a new route from Poznań to EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, scheduled to launch on September 21.
