All Saints' Day preparations in Poland and Croatia
As All Saints' Day approaches, various regions in Poland and Croatia are implementing logistical and safety measures for cemetery visits. In Bjelovar, Croatia, cemeteries will remain open 24 hours a day on October 31 and November 1 to accommodate visitors.
In Poland, public transport authorities are adjusting schedules to handle increased traffic. In the Silesian metropolitan area, ZTM is launching special 'C' lines and offering free travel on November 1. Gdańsk is also introducing dedicated cemetery bus lines, while Warsaw is implementing traffic restrictions and temporary bus lanes in the Bielany district to manage congestion near major necropolises.
Religious communities across Poland are organizing special liturgies, processions, and prayer services. Many parishes have announced specific schedules for All Saints' Day masses, memorial services, and the opportunity for parishioners to obtain plenary indulgences through cemetery visits and prayer.
