Poznań MOPR hosts festival to promote foster care

On September 12, the Municipal Family Support Center (MOPR) in Poznań organized a community festival aimed at promoting foster care. The event was designed to support existing foster families and encourage local residents to consider becoming foster parents.

The festival featured family-oriented activities, including alpaca and pony encounters, inflatable play areas, creative workshops, musical performances, and an illusionist show. A mobile Volkswagen factory was also present at the event.

MOPR utilizes such gatherings as part of an information campaign to increase public knowledge about foster care and to reach individuals willing to provide stable homes for children in difficult family situations. The center also provides ongoing support to current foster families through specialized training and assistance with daily challenges.
