Poznań to host 2027 International Astronautical Congress

Poznań will host the 77th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in 2027. The official handover of the International Astronautical Federation flag took place during the closing ceremony of the previous congress in Antalya, Turkey.

Scheduled to run from September 27 to October 1, 2027, the event will be held at the Poznań International Fair. The congress is a major global gathering for the space sector, typically attracting over 6,000 participants from science and industry.

Officials noted that hosting the event reflects Poland's growing presence in the global economy and its increased contributions to the European Space Agency. The theme for IAC 2027 is ‘One Space, a Common Future’.
