Pozuelo de Calatrava launches 41st Cultural Week with over 100 activities

The municipality of Pozuelo de Calatrava officially presented the programme for its 41st Semana Cultural, scheduled for 31 July–9 August. Mayor David Triguero, Culture Councillor Luis Hornero and local representatives Helena Murillo, Nazareth Galindo and Noelia Garrido attended the launch, highlighting the event’s role in the town’s summer calendar.

The ten‑day programme features more than a hundred activities for all ages, including a wine‑pairing tasting, a national rapid‑painting contest, a popular university‑style lecture series and other cultural initiatives that have become town staples.

Mayor Triguero praised recent festivals and emphasized that the Cultural Week showcases the community’s traditions, clubs and associations, reinforcing Pozuelo’s status as a cultural reference in the Campo de Calatrava region.
