Pozzano beach access dispute leads to seizure of gate

Authorities have seized a gate in Pozzano, Castellammare di Stabia, following complaints regarding restricted access to the sea. The gate, installed by a hotel structure, allegedly blocked passage to the beach and shoreline.

The seizure follows inspections and formal complaints filed by local residents and political representatives, including Deputy Francesco Emilio Borrelli of Alleanza Verdi-Sinistra and Rosario Lotito of Europa Verde. Despite the official order, tensions remain high as protesters and officials have reported that the hotel management continues to deny passage to the area.
