Pozzuoli Civil Protection hub completes first construction phase

The first phase of construction for a Civil Protection logistics and reception hub in Pozzuoli has been completed. Located between via Artiaco and via Campana, the facility is designed to serve the Campi Flegrei population.

Managed by SMA Campania S.p.A. under the coordination of the Campania Regional Department of Civil Protection, the initial works focused on vegetation clearing, cleaning, and restoring area accessibility. The hub is intended to function as a strategic center for emergency response, providing rapid assistance during seismic events, direct support and orientation for citizens, and a permanent logistical base for technical teams and volunteers.

Regional Civil Protection Councilor Fiorella Zabatta stated that the completion of this first lot is a fundamental step in the established timeline to ensure quick responses for local families and citizens.
