Pozzuoli to inaugurate outdoor traditional games space

The Municipality of Pozzuoli will inaugurate ‘Pozzuoli in gioco’, a new outdoor space dedicated to children and adolescents, on Monday, October 19, in Piazza Minopoli, Monterusciello. The project aims to encourage social interaction and physical activity by reviving traditional games such as ‘la campana’ and ‘un, due, tre, stella!’, providing an alternative to digital devices.

Funded by the Authority for Children and Adolescents, the initiative is led by the ACLI Campi Flegrei APS association in partnership with the Vento del Sud Cooperative, the Sant’Artema parish, and local schools. The project includes an educational and ludic program scheduled to continue until 2028, intended to transform urban squares into community meeting points for healthy social development.
