PP of Navarra targets removal of Sánchez and Chivite
The People's Party (PP) of Navarra has launched its new political term with the stated goal of removing both Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez and regional President María Chivite from power. Javier García, president of the PP in Navarra, characterized the current term as Chivite’s last, accusing her administration of failing to meet expectations and contributing to institutional degradation.
García criticized the current leadership for alleged political and moral corruption, specifically mentioning the Belate tunnels adjudication. He further accused the government of being overly subservient to nationalist interests and failing to protect borders. To address economic concerns, the PP proposed a model focused on attracting businesses and implementing tax reductions to increase the purchasing power of citizens.
Regarding future electoral strategies, the PP indicated it is open to all options that benefit the people of Navarra, suggesting a potential alliance or coalition with the Union of the Navarrese People (UPN) in upcoming elections.
