PPC becomes Gold Sponsor of Athens International Film Festival

PPC (ΔΕΗ) has become the Gold Sponsor of the Athens International Film Festival ‘Nights of Premiere’ for the 2026-2027 period. This new partnership aims to support Greek cinema, new creators, and contemporary cinematic production.

The 32nd edition of the festival is scheduled to take place from September 30 to October 11, 2026. The opening ceremony will be held on Wednesday, September 30, at the Athens Concert Hall. The festival program will feature various screenings and activities across iconic cultural venues in Athens, including the Maria Callas Municipal Music Theatre, the Athens Concert Hall, and several prominent cinemas.

Key highlights of the festival include the Greek Short Film Competition, which supports emerging filmmakers, and specialized workshops and masterclasses featuring international industry professionals. The sponsorship also supports the ‘Golden Athena’ awards for Best Film and Best Documentary.
