PPC Energie launches solar panel initiative for Romanian schools

PPC Energie has launched a campaign titled ‘Photovoltaic panels for schools, energy for you’ in partnership with the Association for Values in Education (AVE). The initiative encourages customers to switch to electronic invoicing via email or SMS.

For every customer who activates electronic billing and maintains it for at least six consecutive months, PPC Energie will contribute to equipping a minimum of 15 state pre-university schools in Romania with photovoltaic systems and battery storage. The selected schools are located in the counties of Brașov, Caraș-Severin, Cluj, Constanța, Gorj, Ilfov, and Timiș. The company aims to reach at least 15 schools by September 30, 2027, with the potential to increase this number to 20.

Participating customers are also eligible to enter a draw to win an active energy bonus of up to 150 kWh per month for 12 months. The campaign began in September and is scheduled to run until February 28, 2027.
