Powering Forward Initiative launched by GMF, CSIS, and PPC Group

The German Marshall Fund (GMF) and the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) have launched the Powering Forward Initiative (PFI), a five-year program supported by the PPC Group (DEI). The initiative focuses on how energy, infrastructure, and technology are reshaping the geopolitical landscape of Southeast Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean.

Designed as a platform for analysis and high-level dialogue, the PFI will bring together experts and stakeholders from both sides of the Atlantic. Key areas of focus include energy, digital infrastructure, foreign policy, security policy, and finance. The program aims to assess global strategic shifts within the energy-technology-geopolitics nexus and enhance the resilience of networks and digital infrastructure.

The initiative will implement a multi-layered transatlantic agenda, featuring high-level discussions and international events in Washington, Athens, and Brussels. Additionally, the PFI will conduct in-depth strategic research and provide development opportunities for a new generation of leaders in transatlantic, energy, and economic security.
